Oreste Mantovani wins the Gelato Festival in Naples.
Oreste Mantovani is the award winner at the 2015 Gelato Festival in Italy with an original flavor which gave him the popular jury award as well. At the European final contest in Florence in October 2015, Mantovani was one of the first 4 Top Rated.
The flavor presented in the contest was "The Kingdom of the Two Sicilies", a south sensorial tour that leaves from Sicily and arrives in Campania. Pistachio from Bronte, chocolate from Modica, Hazel from Giffoni, Orange from Sorrento and Giffoni hazelnut biscuit, 1% fat black pig from Caserta, typical in the Bourbonic age.

The competition brought together well-known gelato makers in Campania, each of which crafted flavours closely connected to the territory itself. Customers at the event tasted all the flavours in the competition and then voted on their favourite one. After the popular vote, The Kingdom of the Two Sicilies came out on top.
The Gelato Festival is a national and international event where the best European gelato makers square off against each other. Oreste & Marcella Mantovani participated in the European Final held in Florence in October 2015.
